In Memoriam Cathi

Major Donor and iBOT Personal Mobility Device

Mobility Changes Lives. Donate Today.

Cathi's husband, Joe Maynard (retired Army veteran), was first introduced to iBOT Personal Mobility Device and American Mobility Project at a fundraiser in February 2020. He immediately knew how this device could afford Cathi more mobility freedom.

After talking with Cathi about the device and American Mobility Project, the couple was immediately on board for two things. One was to get Cathi an iBOT of her own, and the other was to become a big part of the American Mobility Project team. Joe and Cathi and their business, ECHO Power Engineering, are significant supporters of the American Mobility Project.

Cathi, a Vietnam era veteran, served in the United States Army as a Military Police - woman and a Boat Pilot. She is the mother of two children, (Joe and Lucas) and the proud grandmother of Joe, Shelby, and Haylee.

Cathi has an interest in philanthropy, muscle cars, family, and children. Cathi uses a wheelchair due to Multiple Sclerosis. An active and beloved member of the Clarksville community, Cathi is well respected for her work and spirit. American Mobility Project is proud to have the Maynard’s onboard as part of the team. Enjoy your iBOT, Cathi and thank you for all you and Joe do for AMP!

Update:
Cathi Maynard courageously battled multiple sclerosis for over 35 years, facing each challenge with resilience, strength, and grace. In 2023, after a long and valiant fight, she passed away due to complications related to her illness. Cathi's unwavering spirit and determination continue to inspire all who knew her.
