Tonya Leszczak joined American Mobility Project Board of Directors in 2023.
With an 18-year tenure in higher education, Tonya is a seasoned professional with her expertise in orchestrating impactful events and programs to engage the community. Serving as the linchpin for major initiatives, she excels in meticulously managing logistics and crafting comprehensive planning strategies for engagement.

Tonya's career is distinguished by visionary programs dedicated to fostering engagement and nurturing relationships. Notable achievements include revitalizing various programs and events at multiple institutions and establishing the APSU Mentorship Program and the inaugural APSU Governors Military Hall of Fame.

Recently, Tonya transitioned to the private sector, joining the team at Millan Enterprises, LLC. Her career is characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence in engagement and philanthropic endeavors, resulting in a transformative impact on those involved and the cultivation of vibrant, connected communities.

A highlight in Tonya's career at Austin Peay was receiving the Friend of PELP (President’s Emerging Leaders Program) Award. This accolade recognized her unwavering commitment to fostering emerging leadership among students, underscoring her dedication to nurturing future leaders.

Tonya holds a Master of Education in Sport Management from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management & Marketing from Western Carolina University, where she also distinguished herself as a scholarship cross-country and track and field student-athlete.

Tonya, along with her husband Tim, calls Clarksville, Tennessee home, where they reside with their daughter Emma.
